Expectations:

  • Responsibilities include:
    • Aid in the production of our medical disposables
    • Contribute to the overall efficiency of distribution and production
    • Desire to become resident expert on BrainCool’s portfolio
    • Proficiency in software data analytics
    • Become familiar with cms.gov
  • Prior experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment
  • Must be currently enrolled or recently completed a 2 or 4-year degree in Biomedical Engineering, or other related field
  • Eager to learn about Targeted Temperature Management and ICU protocol
  • Strategic thinking that leads to unique problem-solving
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to lift and/or push 30 pounds and stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Able to read, analyze and interpret technical literature, schematics, and technical drawings

Conditions of Employment:

  • Unpaid
  • Part-time (10-20hrs/week)
  • 6-month internship (January – June)
  • Able to work virtually as well as meet in Annapolis, MD office
  • Pass background check as well as a drug test
  • Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement
  • BrainCool, Inc. will supply a laptop as well as any necessary software
