Expectations:
- Responsibilities include:
- Aid in the production of our medical disposables
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of distribution and production
- Desire to become resident expert on BrainCool’s portfolio
- Proficiency in software data analytics
- Become familiar with cms.gov
- Prior experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment
- Must be currently enrolled or recently completed a 2 or 4-year degree in Biomedical Engineering, or other related field
- Eager to learn about Targeted Temperature Management and ICU protocol
- Strategic thinking that leads to unique problem-solving
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to lift and/or push 30 pounds and stand and walk for long periods of time
- Able to read, analyze and interpret technical literature, schematics, and technical drawings
Conditions of Employment:
- Unpaid
- Part-time (10-20hrs/week)
- 6-month internship (January – June)
- Able to work virtually as well as meet in Annapolis, MD office
- Pass background check as well as a drug test
- Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement
- BrainCool, Inc. will supply a laptop as well as any necessary software
